By accessing or using CeylonTopGuide ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

CeylonTopGuide is a free discovery platform that connects travelers with verified, licensed tour guides in Sri Lanka. We provide guide profiles, tour packages, ratings, and contact information.

We are not a travel agency, booking intermediary, or tour operator. We do not facilitate transactions, process payments, or arrange tours between travelers and guides. All arrangements are made directly between the parties involved.

To access certain features, you must create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, contain fraudulent information, or are used for any unlawful purpose.

Tour guides on CeylonTopGuide are required to submit their SLTDA (Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority) license and government-issued identity documents for verification.

While we make reasonable efforts to verify guide credentials, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or validity of any guide's qualifications, licenses, or information. Travelers should exercise their own judgment when selecting a guide.

Our rating system uses unique reference codes generated by guides to ensure only travelers who completed a tour can submit a review. By submitting a rating, you confirm that you participated in the tour and that your review is honest and accurate.

You may not submit fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or abusive reviews. We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these terms or our community guidelines.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Platform without permission
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation

All content on the Platform — including logos, text, design, graphics, and software — is owned by CeylonTopGuide or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Guide-submitted content (photos, descriptions, packages) remains the property of the respective guide. By uploading content, guides grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Platform.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any tour or service offered by guides listed on the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CeylonTopGuide and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We are not liable for any disputes, damages, injuries, or losses arising from arrangements made between travelers and tour guides. All interactions, agreements, and transactions are solely between the parties involved.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services (authentication, hosting, analytics). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
